A large public hospital in Vienna is looking for nurses for its internal medicine ward. The hospital employs over 3,000 staff and has an extensive support programme for international personnel, including assistance with diploma recognition and a specialist language course.

Your Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care to patients on the internal medicine ward
- Carrying out medical orders and nursing procedures
- Medical documentation in the electronic system
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Preparing patients for procedures and discharge
Requirements
- Nursing diploma recognised in Austria or willingness to obtain recognition
- German language skills at least B2
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Willingness to work shifts
Not Required, But Would Be a Plus
- Experience in internal medicine or intensive care
- Familiarity with Medocs or similar medical documentation systems
- ECG certification or other specialist training
Additional Information
The diploma recognition process in Austria typically takes 3–6 months. The hospital allows work as a nursing assistant in the meantime. An adaptation period before the recognition exam is also possible.
